In what look like a probe of the Uduaghan Administration the Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has ordered the Delta State Civil Services Commission to sack all employee of the Service, employed from 2013 till date.
Recall on May 31, 2015 we brought a report of the governor suspending the civil services recruitment carried out in 2014.
In the latest action the Government has send a circular to all concerned unit, instructing them to stop all staff employed between 2013 to 2014 calling the process through which they came in as a complete fraud. The Computer centre had since removed the names of all staff affected from the commission payroll.
A staff of the commission who spoke with Blogwatch Nigeria said the Governor was angry that the employee for 2013 came in through the back door like those of 2014 where job slots were sold for as much as N800,000.
in a similar development the Governor has also suspended the Commissioner for Poverty Alleviation and Executive Secretary, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Development, Dr Anthonia Ashiedu. Her suspension according to our source was related to improper disbursement of funds made for MSME in Delta State.
“The probe will include the Uduaghan transport scheme and the Delta Mall being constructed at Effurun round about” our source said
